Homework & Exam Procedures

Listed below the process for submitting homework and taking exams for your online classes. Unless your professor has requested that you submit assignments directly to them, your homework and exams will come through CPD here at ASU:

Homework
  • Option A: You may scan and email homework to cpd.hwexam@asu.edu. Please use the attached form each time you submit homework so we may keep accurate track of what has been submitted.
  • Option B: You may fax the homework assignment to our office using the attached form to 480/965-2929. Again, please use the attached form so we may properly track your homework.

The CPD office logs all of your work and delivers it directly to the professor. When we receive your graded homework back from the professor we will scan it and email it to the address you have designated. All correspondence regarding homework or exams should be emailed to cpd.hwexam@asu.edu. Use of this folder allows multiple individuals in CPD access to the contents in the event that a staff member is out and homework materials, etc. need to be forwarded to your professor.

Exams

If you have not already submitted your proctor form, please do so immediately. This is necessary in order for you to take exams for your online course. It is the student's responsibility to make sure they know when exams are scheduled and to give the proctor sufficient notice to schedule a time to take the exam. The professor does post the syllabus and make announcements on the MYASU blackboard.

All exams must be taken on the day they are scheduled. There are no exceptions, unless you have made prior arrangements with your professor and he/she sends written confirmation via email to CPD of the change prior to the exam. You must notify us with regarding any changes in your exam date so we can accurately track your exam. The time of day you take the exam is flexible because it should be at the convenience of your proctor's schedule as we have students in different time zones.

Exams will be sent to the proctor via email in a WORD or PDF format no later than 5:00 am the day of the exam, if we have received it prior to this time by the professor. All instructions for the exam will be included. Upon completion of the exam, the proctor will email or fax the exam back to the CPD office. All contact information will be included with the instructions.
