Registration Request for Online Credit Courses

In our continued quest for quality and service to our Engineering distance learning students, Global Outreach & Extended Education (GOEE) has created a more efficient and student-friendly enrollment process. We have removed the "department consent" from all Engineering online course sections. In the past, this consent directed students to go through GOEE (formerly CPD) before allowing one to self-register through Peoplesoft. By removing this step, online engineering students are able to register, without added constrictions, for these course sections like any other ASU student.

Once a student has register for the course, GOEE will be contact each student to request the required proctor information and confirm additional information. This process will be completed through an online form which provides this information only to GOEE

Although the online graduate professional engineering programs and courses are offered primarily to off-campus working professionals, some course sections are available for engineering students enrolled in a campus-based program. There are additional fees for the online course section. For additional information regarding tuition and fee schedules, please visit our tuition page.

All registrations submitted on or after the first day of classes will incur a non-refundable $50 late fee.

Online Course Proctor Identification Form

As a student registered in an ASU Engineering Online course, you will need to identify a person who could serve as the proctor for your quizzes and/or exams. This person must be someone who can fulfill the requirements of a proctor objectively. The proctor cannot be another student in the program, a friend/colleague, family member, or someone who reports directly to you. A supervisor/manager, librarian, member of the HR/Training staff within your company, former professors, or a member of a learning or testing center (i.e. Sylvan Learning Centers or college testing centers) could qualify to serve as your proctor.

The proctor will be responsible for receiving the exams, following the guidelines for administering the exam (time frame, open or closed book exam, or other instructions as provided by the professor teaching the course) and returning the exam to the University.

The proctor form must be submitted to GOEE no later than the first day of class. You will be notified as to whether this person has been approved to serve as your proctor.
