Areas of Study

In the MEng degree program, multiple emphasis areas are being developed and within each area are specific course requirements in addition to the general program requirements. Students can select:

Advisory Committee

Students define the courses of study with an advisory committee that consists of up to three faculty members and potentially one or more practicing professionals. The chair of the advisory committee will track academic progress and provide student advice.

Please note that any classes taken at other universities (U of A or NAU) can only be used toward this degree program if they have count towards your GPA, meaning they receive a letter-grade at the end of the course. Classes that do not have this option will not transfer over and cannot be used to meet degree program requirements. Examples of classes that will not transfer over are Pass/Fail classes, Capstone Projects, Reading and Conference, Research, etc.

Master of Engineering Admissions Committee (MEAC)

Area of study program coordinators are members of the admissions committee.
